Las Vegas
Cristine and I, with her mom and Don, got back from Vegas last week. We had a good time. We saw the Blue Men, it was great. Last year we saw Cirque De Soule.
This year we had a little bit of unexpected excitement. We stayed in the Monte Carlo which was two buildings over from 'The Broadway.' Upon arrival, we could not help but notice the building was gutted. As suspected, we learned the building was going to be imploded. We were leaving Tuesday morning to come back to Atlanta, but the scheduled implosion was for Wednesday morning at 2:30am. I was dissapointed because it's not everyday you get to see and feel an implosion of a 7-8 story building.
Well, Tuesday morning 2:30am all sound asleep - guess what? We were awaken to a thundering BOOM! Yep, they imploded the building and we could have witnessed the event. Now, I was really dissapointed. Had we known the correct dates, we could now say that we saw an implosion live! Oh well, I guess we can say we had a hell of a wake-up-call.
Anyway, we all really had a great time. I'll be posting pictures on my pbase account today or tomorrow if you wish to see some of the pictures.

Read the post on the bottom first, I didn't know the that this post would put the original post to the bottom.
I think it is as great idea. You are right everyone usually gets the info from others. Great idea. I would love to call you and Christine up and say hey do you want the kids for the night. You are right it is a shame that everyone lives in another state.
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
